Woman’s Missionary Union challenges Christians to understand and be active in the mission of God.
WMU’s main purpose is to educate and involve women, girls, and preschoolers in the cause of Christian missions.
Objectives reflect a biblical understanding of missions and provide a holistic approach to awareness and participation.
We fellowship with neighbors in many ways, including the Community Outreach Luncheon Program.
Soup, chili, cornbread, cookies, and/or brownies (no frosting!) is served October through May.
Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month at the Senior Citizens Center.
FBC-Lynchburg has a food pantry for those in need in our communities. If you know of a family or anybody who needs food or toiletries, please contact us.
If you have any non-perishable food items and toiletries that you would like to donate to our food pantry, just ask anybody in the church, and we will help you!
On Sunday mornings during Sunday School, several members of FBC go to the Lynchburg Nursing Home and hold a small service.
If you want to be a part of this great ministry, ask for Buck Early or Jerry Warren.
The music ministry of FBC-Lynchburg is exciting and dedicated to serving God through song.
Led by Sheron Kriss, the FBC-Lynchburg choir is always looking for willing singers and musicians to contribute to our worship services.
Choir practice takes place after the Sunday evening service.
